Entries are open for Scotland’s Christmas Home of the Year 2026 as judges search the country for festive cheer

Words Kirsty Feerick

Does your place have what it takes to be Scotland’s Christmas Home of the Year 2026? From cosy city flats to grand country houses, the search is on to find the country’s best festive displays.

Judges are on a mission to discover playful themes, charming crafts, and imaginative details, as entries are now open for the seasonal spinoff of the much loved Scotland’s Home of the Year programme.

This is your chance to invite thousands of BBC Scotland viewers into your space to show how you welcome the season in style. Picture wreaths on the door, trees full of twinkling lights, and handmade grottoes as homeowners go above and beyond to spread Christmas cheer.

Previous winners have captured the nation with rooms that tell stories and feel like a winter wonderland even Santa himself would feel at home in. If your place makes neighbours smile and family memories shine, then it could be the perfect contender to win.
