Trendwatch – Lime

Into the limelight

Update with this zesty shade

Colour advice

Working zesty lime touches into your home can refresh tired interiors almost immediately, “They add a natural colour with a really fresh feel,” says Kirsten Robeson of Cameron Interiors. Whether you introduce lime by using statement pieces or subtly through patterns, work in other colours too, alongside varying shades of green to keep the look consistent. If it’s being used on larger pieces, such as kitchen cabinets or sofas, keep the walls a crisp white or another complementary colour to allow the lime to really pop. However, you need to be mindful of the shade that you are selecting, “if you choose the wrong shade of green it can be too acidic” warns Kirsten.
