Jonny Lyons is an artist who likes to have a good laugh. His works capture a moment in time, frozen and fragile. It begins as performance but the photographic end result means that an element of the moment is preserved, even if only a snapshot. The Duncan of Jordanstone graduate has won several awards and residencies, and his latest exhibition, in Edinburgh, shows a series of coming-of-age works that should make you both smile and shed a tear.
