Architectural sculpturists Chisel & Mouse are on a mission to repurpose scale models as objets d’art – though not in a way you might expect. While a miniature Eiffel Tower or tiny Taj Mahal could easily make a covetable additon to desks and display cabinets, a Brutalist office building proves unlikely inspiration instead for brothers Robert and Gavin Paisley, who create the plaster models.
Chisel & Mouse pay a diminutive tribute to London’s controversial landmark, the 1970’s concrete Centre Point, its 385 feet now a more manageable 28cm.
