Danish furniture and lighting company &tradition cinched Best Lighting Design 2015 at the Design Awards in Copenhagen. The award-winning piece was Light Forest by Ontwerpduo, dubbed “playful, anarchistic, adventurous and provocative” by the jury. The lighting system consists of vine-like network branches made of extruded aluminium tubes and coated in a matte forest green, which then open up to spun-copper lampshades, representative of flowers. It can be adapted to walls or ceilings, and will definitely provide a talking point as well as light.
