Burning up

If a fireplace doesn’t suit your current space, Cocoon Fires’ suspended, sustainable Aeris, with its half-futuristic, half-1960s aesthetic, could be a contemporary alternative. Designed by Federico Otero, Aeris is made from stainless steel and burns biofuel, namely denatured ethanol, which is derived from plants such as wheat, barley and corn.
