If children were in charge of upholstery, the outcome might just be JAB Anstoetz’s confident and colourful new collection, Luke. The 100% plain cotton fabrics, in a spectrum of 63 solid hues, seem to take their cue from a box of crayons, and are designed to be combined for impact. Reference kids’ paintings and brazenly clash fuchsia and tangerine with forest green, but keep the look subdued with neutral walls and natural flooring, as JAB Anstoetz has done here. Consider picking out a lead colour, too, such as the purple of the curtains, cushions and rug. £31.90 per metre. www.jab-uk.co.uk
