Veggie tales

Dash & Albert’s latest rug, Cooper, is woven from jute, a sustainable vegetable fibre, spun into a durable, textured thread, making it an eco-friendly piece that can survive in both indoor living areas and outside on the patio, brightening up drab flagstones. What’s more, its plaid pattern, dreamt up by designer Bunny Williams and handmade by artisans observing fair-labour practices in the US, comes in three colours, all created using vegetable dyes in the production process. To stop the rugs slipping, the textile brand also offers Extra-Grip rug pads, made from PVC-coated polyester.  5ft x 8ft, £355.
