For 21 years Glasgow-based photographer Elaine Livingstone has been taking shots of people and places. A devotee of various disciplines of photography, Elaine has found street photography to be one of the most challenging and rewarding aspects of her work. “Glasgow streets are such a fantastic landscape for a photographer and shooting on them inspired me to shoot similar subject matter in other locations, including the Middle East, Europe and the US… or wherever I have ended up whilst working on other assignments”. Now working as a freelance photographer, Elaine’s career has seen her work on a variety of domestic and international assignments for bespoke publishing houses and on personal projects.
