In a bid to encourage the public to appreciate good design, Sir Terence Conran set up the Design Museum in 1989. Twenty-five years on, it has become an international institution where the world’s finest architects and designers exhibit, collaborate and convene. Big hitters including Louis Kahn are on the roster for 2014, ahead of the Museum’s new home opening in Kensington in 2015.
