The work of Lauren Jenkins, Architectural Assistant at Aberdeen-based JAMstudio, the multi award-winning RIAS chartered practice, has been selected to be presented at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh as part of the New Contemporaries Exhibition 2015. The RGU student, who recently passed her Master’s of Architecture course with distinction, completed her thesis on implementing a more radical approach of high density design to the empty and rundown back land areas in Peterhead. This was part of a wider collaborative team project, which investigated the creation of ‘Resilient towns’.
The curated annual exhibition focuses on emerging artists and architects in Scotland.
