Red or Dead designers Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway are behind Vintage Glasgow, part of this year’s Merchant City Festival. The event will bring together the music, fashion, film, art, dance, food and design from the 1920s to the 1980s that has made Britain the world’s capital of cool. Vintage Glasgow will take over Candleriggs, the Old Fruitmarket and City Halls for Merchant City craft workshops, a Makeover Salon, a vintage photobooth, rockabilly, swing and disco dancing classes, fashion shows and films. July 27-28.
