Alison Cowan’s textured flowers and trees are the subject of the summer exhibition Outside In at Christos Gallery in Glasgow’s west end. This piece, Purple Haze Pom Pom, could be a hydrangea or an allium or a semi-abstract cherry tree in blossom (or even an unreleased Jimi Hendrix out-take).
