This is not the first time nutty Dutch designer Marcel Wanders has explored yarn-based seating (he made his name with his macramé-like Knotted Chair for Droog Designs in 1996). This latest creation, the Boutique Delft Blue Jumper, uses a knitted cable design to add texture and interest. The cushion patterns are based on traditional china patterns, transferred on to fabric.
